Payment Links
Durable URLs you can copy. Opening the URL is an APT sandbox checkout — documented test cards only, never a real card.
What it is
A payment link is a saved, copyable URL. Creating it writes a Worker D1 row. Opening /pay/:id takes a sandbox payment with test cards. PAN is not stored.
When to use it
Use payment links when you don't have a website, when you need to collect ad-hoc payments, or when invoicing would be too heavyweight.
Step-by-step
- Open Payment Links.
- Click Create link.
- Set a name and amount (or variable). Optionally attach a real customer or invoice.
- Copy the URL or Open Link. Use a documented test card on the pay page. Never a real card.
Common pitfalls
Use documented test cards from Testing. Real cards are not charged and must not be entered. payment_link.paid fires only after a D1 transaction exists.
