How do I sign up for an account?

Click 'Get started' in the top nav. You'll complete a short onboarding wizard, choose Gateway Only or Gateway + Merchant Account, and submit for review.

How do I get an account approved faster?

Use a business email matching your domain, complete every required field, and ensure your website resolves cleanly. Most accounts are auto-approved within minutes when validation signals all pass.

Where do I sign in?

Go to /signin and pick Merchant, Partner, or Internal Staff. Each role lands on its own portal.

Which payment methods are supported?

Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), ACH (NACHA-compliant debits and credits with returns and NOC), and stablecoin (USDC, USDT on Ethereum, Polygon, and Solana).

How long does ACH take to settle?

Standard ACH typically settles in 1–3 business days. Returns can arrive 2–5 business days after settlement. Same-day ACH is supported for eligible merchants.

How do micro-deposits work?

For first-time bank accounts, two deposits under $1.00 are sent. The customer confirms the amounts in their dashboard to verify ownership before the account can be debited.

What signals are checked during underwriting?

OFAC, WHOIS / RDAP, Google Safe Browsing, email reputation, and business identity validation. Results are visible to internal reviewers but never to the applicant.

My application is in PENDING_REVIEW — what now?

Some features are gated until review completes. You can still access the dashboard, customers, reports, and settings. The lifecycle banner explains what's pending.

How do I rotate API keys?

Settings → API Keys → Generate new key. The previous key remains valid for 24 hours so you can roll requests over without downtime.

How are webhooks signed?

Every webhook includes an HMAC-SHA256 signature in the Apt-Signature header. Verify it using your endpoint secret. We retry with exponential backoff for 24 hours on non-2xx responses.

What does pagination look like?

Cursor-based: responses include `data`, `has_more`, and `next_cursor`. Pass `cursor=…` on the next request to continue. Page size defaults to 25, max 100.

What does APT cost?

A single Standard tier: $10 monthly minimum, 0.50% per transaction (capped at $10/month), 0.10% volume fee, and $0.02 per authorization attempt. All bundled services are included.

When am I billed?

Monthly in arrears on the first business day of the following month. Invoices are emailed and visible in Settings → Billing.

How is sensitive PII protected?

Tax IDs and bank account numbers are masked everywhere by default. Unmasking requires a session-scoped step-up verification (OTP). All access is recorded in the audit log.

Where do I see chargeback notifications?

Reports → Chargebacks & Fraud, plus the bell in the top nav. Webhooks fire on every status change.

How do I invite a merchant?

From the partner portal, open Merchants → New merchant. Send a branded invitation; the merchant's onboarding inherits your processor configuration.

Do partners see merchant transaction data?

No. Partners see aggregate KPIs only. Raw transactions are scoped to the merchant account that owns them.
