Change your business legal name
How to update your registered legal name post-onboarding.
Why it is locked
Legal name is part of your KYC profile. Changing it requires re-verification because it appears on settlement reports and 1099-K filings.
How to request a change
- Open Settings → Business profile.
- Click "Request legal name change" and upload a state filing or IRS letter showing the new name.
- Underwriting reviews within 1 business day.
